After a career of over 40 years, the founder of Botten Levinson Lawyers, Jamie Botten has announced his retirement.
Jamie has long been regarded as the preeminent planning and property development lawyer in South Australia. He has acted for a wide range of clients in planning and development matters across the state and in many of the significant projects facing complex or contested planning issues. He has throughout his career applied the same diligence, persistence and integrity to every matter. Jamie’s knowledge and experience is unsurpassed.
After several years in other established Adelaide firms, Jamie started Jamie Botten & Associates (now Botten Levinson Lawyers) in 1994 as a sole practice. He steadily built the firm to the size that it is today by his incredible dedication and hard work.
Jamie has trained and mentored numerous young lawyers. He relentlessly adhered to high standards of integrity and service, attention to detail and concern to achieve the best results for his clients. He instilled that approach in all who had the great benefit of working with him.
We humbly congratulate Jamie on an incredible career and thank him for the firm that he has created. We all recognise what an outstanding example he has set for other lawyers and aspire to uphold the high standards he has set.
Jamie can rightly be very proud of all that he has accomplished. He has certainly earned the right to call an end to his professional career.
His presence and contribution will be missed around the office. We wish Jamie and his family a peaceful and content retirement.
