Rosie joined Botten Levinson in 2021 following her return to Australia after several years living and working overseas. Rosie has significant experience as a regulatory lawyer having spent the last 15 years advising on administrative decision making, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance and enforcement proceedings in Australia and a number of foreign jurisdictions. In addition to holding a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide Rosie holds a Master in Laws in Government Regulation from the Australian National University.
Rosie commenced her career as a Government litigator and prosecutor for the Australian Government Solicitor where she acted for Federal Government clients in administrative litigation and also conducted civil enforcement proceedings and regulatory prosecutions. Rosie left Australia to pursue international opportunities and whilst abroad developed her expertise in administrative and regulatory law advising both public and private sector clients on administrative disputes and enforcement challenges arising from a diverse range of regulatory frameworks. Rosie has specific experience in health and safety regulation (including incident management), food and fire safety and environmental regulation as well as liquor licencing applications and appeals. Rosie brings a unique ability to navigate regulatory frameworks, people and processes and provide both strategic and commercial results for her clients.
